RINL denies irregularities in raw materials procurement

Visakhapatnam: The management of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL),0 the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has refuted reports in a section of the media quoting some union leaders that they have committed several irregularities in procuring raw materials compromising the quality.
The company clarified that RINL has a robust and transparent procurement policy and quality control system. "RINL products are known for their highest quality in both domestic and export markets due to its stringent quality checks at each stage of its manufacturing process.
In its attempt to achieve turnaround and start generating cash profits, it is imperative that RINL’s production matches its installed capacity," a release stated.
